Rating: - Great acting debut by Al Pacino, but...
Plot of this movie is kind of a downer, and it's outdated too. If you like Al Pacino, I suppose it is a must see, but otherwise, I would not bother.

Rating: - The beginning of a beautiful friendship
between Al and film and his fans. His acting ability is never in question from the beginning. Never mind that the material was threadbare, all that mattered was Al was a jewel. Very few first time performances can predict an actors future, but I saw this movie when it came out and I knew he was going to be a star. Like Leonardo DiCaprio performance in Gilbert Grape, you just know.
