Rating: - Outstanding Pop Group
Duran Duran is one of the best bands in the entertainment business - a fine blend of daring fashion and musical talent. I'll admit that I was not thrilled with the remixes (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), but the entire CD is well worth the money. They are one of the few 80's bands that I would rush out and see in concert. I highly recommend this CD.

So this is from where The Killers, The Bravery, Action Action, and all the new-wave electronica/synth pop of today draw their influences.
Great fun. :)

In my opinion, this band isnt more of a "hidden treasures" band, where their little-known songs are greatest. I have heard most of the work, and since this is a pop band, the catchy ones work best. Thus, the catchy hits they produce are their best, so this CD is the best pick.

I love Duran Duran and they only get better with age. I've danced to their music for hours and hours and dream of meeting Simon someday. If you're new to DD this is a great place to jump in... if not your probably have all of these songs anyway but need to buy it so your collection is complete.
