When introducing people to my 1980s avantgarde music collection, this is the first album I try. Once digested, Big Science. Laurie Anderson is the voice of authority. She is the electrical version of Ph balanced. I laugh -- I think -- I cry. Beautiful Red Dress speaks volumes.

Got Big Sience, another album by this artist. This one is just as intresting. not as cute. But will continue to keep it in the car for long trips.

This CD is one of the few I have downloaded into my Ipod complete. The music has a dream like quality, but what I really like is Laurie Andersons use of language, for example the idea of purchasing " high heeled feet" at a body shop amuses me.
Rating: - Strange is the operative word, but interesting also.
She's really a performance artist, better when seen as well as heard. If the "music" strikes a chord don't miss a chance to see her if she comes to your town.
