- "When She Danced With Me, Our Hearts Were Free..."
This review refers to "Stealing Home: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" CD(Atlantic Recording)..

Okay, so the first thing you want to know is why did I go 4 stars for this beautiful album that has a 5 star selection and performances? Only because it is too short! 32 minutes is not nearly long enough. Even if they would have added more of the score of the "Stealing Home" theme music I would still have been happily swaying to the music. The CD at this time, costs more then the DVD, shouldn't we get a little more time with it.(Especially since music is easily obtained these days from other sources.)

Now that I've got that off my chest I want to say..I LOVE the music from "Stealing Home"; a film about life(and baseball) that once seen, will always stay with you. - A Timeless Treasure
David Foster showcases his true mark of excellence with this soundtrack. Wonderfully crafted, romantic songs like "And When She Danced" duet with Marilyn Martin and "Katie's Theme," encapsulate the characters and the tragic love story of the film. The disc also sports classic tunes from Bo Diddley, The Nylons, and Jerry Lewis. This is one soundtrack that should not be missed.

While I enjoyed the movie, the music just brought it all together. The song, "When She Danced," brings back the scene on the beach of newly found love and just how special it can be. I loved this soundtrack.

"Stealing Home" is the movie that has a special place in my heart. And it is still my all-time favorite.

The song "And When She Dance" is the reason I got an iPOD, so I could listen to it while watching the sunset on a boardwalk, thinking of my own Katie...
