I recently enjoyed watching her growth in self assurance as Brooke White performed weekly on 2008 American Idol. Her Songs From the Attic CD is the beginning of a wonderful career. It is soothing to me as I drive or at home when I'm using it as background for my projects and activities. Anyone who liked her on Idol will like this CD.

This was a good CD. It is a shame that it went nowhere and she then had to go on American Idol for people to even hear her. I found it interesting that some reviewers think that this is a NEW RELEASE....it ISN"T. This was released originally in 2006 and I don't even think made it to the stores. She is destined for greatness and I am glad to support her way there. Thought she was one of the most talented on American Idol 2007. A voice filled with TRUE emotion is what makes a great singer. Brooke is the new Carly Simon and Carole King all rolled into one.

I really loved Brooke White on American Idol(A show I can't stand,otherwise)then I learned that she had made a disk BEFORE her stint on AI. Well, I just had to order it. When I got it I was excited! The first song "Free" is very lively and puts you in good mood. However, the rest of the disk is nothing but slow songs, and who wants that? Enough to put anyone to sleep. On the positive side, Brooke wrote most of the songs herself, save for a few covers, and plays her own instruments. But let's
hope if she ever makes another disk, there'll be more of a balance of fast and slow songs. I no longer own this disk. I traded it in to CD warehouse.

Enjoyed this CD very much, Songs from the attic will give you a look into the future works of Brooke. I'm looking forward to her future cd's now she has performed on American Idol.
