Amazon.com Product Description:
The Honeywell 3-speed digital tower fan with ionizer exudes the feel of a spring breeze throughout your home. The powerful, Turbo Wind generator blades move more air than typical blades. You can turn on the breeze mode to simulate a gentle outdoor wind, or set the fan to shut off on its own in 2-, 4-, or 8-hour intervals. Either way, you can control it from your favorite spot with the convenient remote control, which features three cooling speeds and infrared technology. The tilted head also allows for directional cooling, and the strong motor operates with a quiet performance. Best of all, this fan's ionizer and dust/pollen filter can provide relief from allergies.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Nothing special ...
I ordered it and had high expectations after reading the other reviews. I have the desktop version and it is insane! The low speed is way too much wind for me usually

This one however is nothing special. And is actually a bit short which is annoying, i have to keep it on a chair to have it at a good level.

It does blow wind, but i expected better performance.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good but not what i expected
good silent and stylish fan but only problem is its not powerful enough..Dont expect it to cool anything other than your bed ( that is if u keep it near your bed)

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great fan, but the base needs a redesign
This is a very nice fan that runs day and night in my home office with no mechanical issues whatsoever. I've owned it for a little under a year or so and it really is a workhorse.

However, the design for the base connectors is a joke. There are six little plastic flange-like clips that interlock with the base at the center. But there is no way to lock them permanently into place and if you move the fan, the base will often slip right off and then you're forced to flip it over and fasten the thing on again. After a few moves in my office, two of the clips broke off and now it's very difficult to get things seated securely again. This is an absolutely boneheaded design, in my opinion. It detracts from an otherwise quality product.

But aside from this poor bit of engineering, I'm still inclined to give kudos where appropriate. Especially for the price, this is a good fan.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - So many great reviews misled me
So many great reviews saying the fan "pushed a lot of air" led me to buy two. The first broke during assembly - all the little plastic "flanges" that are supposed to connect the fan to the base broke off; I'm a frail arthritic old lady; anything I can break is very flimsy. Thankfully, there was also one screw to attach the two pieces, so now I have a somewhat unstable, but useable fan. When I plugged it in, I was shocked. It pushed less air than a $12.95 20" box fan. Yes, it does oscillate a full 180 degrees. Sitting 15' directly in front of it, I can barely feel the air move about the time the fan completes the second 90 degree arc of it's oscillation.

It is quiet. So is a palm frond waved gently thru the air. They create about the same breeze.

Needless to say, the second fan was returned unopened. Since the first is broken, I can't return it.
