Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
No stranger to the realm of children's records, They Might Be Giants have seen success with their CD No! and the book-and-CD combo Bed, Bed, Bed. Their latest CD, Here Come the ABCs, offers up 25 alphabetically themed songs. However, as is their charming way, the two Johns (Flansburgh and Linnell), use the letters as merely the connective tissue, allowing them to pursuit intriguing flights of fancy that consider everything from the relative power of letters and sounds to animal hijinks. Just as they've always done, there are wistful ballads and high octane rockers. TMBG have always been a family-friendly band, and this disc works just fine for adult fans, who can rightfully consider this simply their newest release. --David Greenberger

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Kid Friendly Music
This is a great CD for both children and adults. The best part about it is that you don't have to have kids to enjoy it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - YEAH! We love the ABC's
It's simple, this is an awesome kid's CD! I bought it when my son was 2 years old and he's now 3. He still loves the music and sings to it all of the time, even when it's not on. It's a must have for car rides and will give your kids a chance to learn their ABC's in fun. The DVD is a bonus! It's also great - sometimes cheesy, but I think that's TMBG's style - - - the images are funky and fun to atch for grownups - and the music is not the same annoying sing-songs of Wiggle fame (sorry Wiggle fans). I have since purchased this as kid's gifts for all of the 1 to 4 year olds in our little circle and so far, everyone has shown a liking.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - I prefer "...the 1,2,3's" CD over this one....
but they're both good cd's. We just happen to love the "1,2,3's" hands down!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for the kids!
This CD/DVD combo is great and well worth the price. My son loves "Here Come the 123s" by TMBG so we got him this ABCs as well and he loves it too. He is always walking around singing the songs. He is always requesting to watch the DVD. Both the ABCs and the 123s are highly recommended. Plus it's a bonus if you are already a fan of TMBG. It's fun for the whole family!
