Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Nice background music
I bought this album to listen to while reading and doing other focus-intensive work. For that use the music is very appropriate, but for everyday listening it can be a little slow and boring.


Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Bluegrass
I live in the Bluegrass so I gotta tell you I hear alot of it. If you like bluegrass music this is a great album and tribute to JJ. True Bluegrass has no percution from drums BUT it works well here.

It's not the same as the songs from his other albums but if you like to listen to the music its not that bad.

Boring, lifeless interpretations of great music. Covers should only be attempted if the second artist is bringing something new to the table (witness Scissor Sisters' "Comfortably Numb") - you might not like it but at least its different. Playing songs at 3/4 speed with no vocals is not creative.
