I saw this concert as a kid, and have to say that it's just as good now as it was then. Ozzy is at the top of his game as are Tony, Geezer, and Bill. Some people have written about Ozzy being stage right... Well duh... They where video TAPING this concert. This allowed the camera man to do close ups and still be out of the way.
I've got news for those fools that don't think about when this concert was filmed... The mic's and instruments have wires coming out of them! As do the video equiptment! Oh my gosh! No wireless back then.
So in closing. If you want to see Sabbath the way Sabbath was... Get this concert. You won't be disappointed!

I never got to see Sabbath before the Dio years, my first show was during 1980 Black and Blue tour. Bootlegs are available of 1974's California Jam, but usually of poor quality and pricey at that.
Here's the closest thing to my wish. Audio and video quality could stand improvement and I could do without any cuts from "Never Say Die" or "Technical Ecstasy". This video rocks, Iommi rips,Butler pounds, Ward thumps along. And Ozzy who was not a household name in those days sings decently. Never a strong vocalist but a good front man with a voice made for this dark rock, Ozzy kept it together.

Having seen a number of Black Sabbath video/DVD recordings from the early 70's to the late 90's, performances that both made and retained their global reputation as being one of the most devastating live acts, Never Say Die, in comparison, is a lacklustre, tired and lethargic performance which only serves to highlight the disunity and disharmony between the original 4 members.
The audio and visual aspects of the DVD are somewhat irrelevant here - it was, after all, recorded nearly 30 years ago on lumpy analogue equipment delivering a relatively flat and uninspiring sound (in mono) all under the cycloptic gaze of a giant disco ball.
What is relevant, however, is what you are expecting to see before you buy this DVD as opposed to what you actually see when you've bought it.

Rating: - Expected better audio - bummer!
I feel this could have been a MUCH better example of the greatest old-school metal band to ever pi$$ off my parents. The video is pretty good, but I'm disappointed in the audio, even when piped through my stereo. Just didn't capture my passion for rock n roll like the rest of my concert DVDs. No good, long, [...]kickin jams to be had here, guys. Sooo, feeling a bit denied - I'll be surfing around to see if there even IS a Sabbath [or Ozzy] DVD worth buying.
