- Traveling Wilbury's Vol 1
If you enjoy listening to the Traveling Wilburys (Otis, Lefty, Lucky, Charlie T Jr., and Nelson) and have not purchased a CD set containing everthing they have done, then this is a must have CD. "Handle with Care" and "End of the Line" are two of my favorites. For those that don't get it, the Traveling Wilburys (on this CD) were Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, (George Harrison, and Roy Orbison).

How can you beat Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and George Harrison all together as 1 group, each writing, playing and singing on every song?!!!. This is the ultimate "super-group" and every song is owned distinctly by each artist either by vocals, lyrics, style or all of the above. I imagine this is what music will sound like in heaven. This is not a new find for me, I have loved this work since it 1st came out in the late 80's but the digital remastering and the added songs are a bonus. I think I will go listen to it again now, it always makes me smile and thankful to have the gift of music in my life.

It has been 20 years ago since The Traveling Wilburys had formed, and became one of the most surprising groups ever. For Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, the late George Harrison, Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynne of ELO, the opportunity of making great music couldn't be anything but sweet. Yet as time had passed, many record buyers had been looking back and forth seeking to find a copy of the first Traveling Wilburys album, which seemed to be more than met the eye. But that had changed last year when Rhino re-released the 2 Traveling Wilburys records into 1 unique Anthology. Now, for those who just wanted the simplicity of the first one finally have a second chance.
