Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Superb a cappella with an urban euro flavor
Wow, these guys are great. This lineup of the Flying Pickets is: Gary Howard, Alex Lewis, Nick Godfrey, Ricky Payne, and Hereward Kaye.

This disc, produced by Herwig Ursin, includes two tracks penned by Howard and one by Godfrey, along with classics such as James Taylor's "Traffic Jam" (I hope Taylor has heard it, because he would surely love it!); Prince's "Purple Rain" and "I Feel For You," and Van Morrison's "Blue Money" and "Crazy Love." The closer, "Blowing Away," the beautiful Eric Kaz song notably covered by Bonnie Raitt, brought tears to my eyes. Heavenly harmonies.

If you enjoy male a cappella groups, you are in for a treat with this one. Recorded in Vienna and in the Netherlands, but the band evidently hails from the UK. This I bought off the back off Amazon's recomendation. It is a totally different line up than the first Flying Pickets. Totally different sound and just magic to acapella tuned ears. It took two or three plays to get me hooked - but hooked I am. Purple Haze is incredible.
