I AM ALMOST 17 AND AM NOT A KID.
This is an excellent EP, although I wouldn't suggest it for the weak-minded. Some people think he's very weird, and some people say he's on drugs, but believe it or not, it's not true. Anyway this is a greatest hit and it is probably for hardcore fans. Here is my opinion of each track:
1. Lunchbox (Album Version) 5/5
Lunchbox is a greatest hit as I said. It's starts off with a little girl saying "next mother****er's gonna get my metal." It's very funny.
2. Lunchbox (Next Mother****er Remix) 4/5
I gave it 4 out of 5 because it's much like the other song, and it makes me laugh. I wonder who mixes these songs. Although,, listening to it, you could tell it certainly isn't a DJ.
3. Down In The Park 5/5
This is a cover of an old song. It's an excellent b-side that just pops up on this EP. I think it's great that it did, because ... Read More
Rating: - Lunchbox Party!
I can easily why Lunchbox became a single from Portrait of an American Family. It was, and will always be a fun song. Any Manson fan who doesn't find this song occasionally popping up in his or her head, aught to be ashamed of themselves. It's about rebellion, violence and growing up and being a big rock n' roll Star. With this big single we are given the Original Lunchbox, the B-side Down in the Park, 3 Remix's and an Edit. The original is great in itself. Down in the Park is a very cool cover of the weird Gary Numan song. The 3 remix's are all pretty good, but I would say that the best remix is the Next Motherf***er remix. And I can only see the edit used by High school or college DJ's. I'm one of them so it's ok with me. Normally I am annoyed by Edits but this one somehow doesn't tap that little button in by head that says BURN AND DESTROY. Hope this helped. Bye.
Rating: - This song kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Although people think Marilyn Manson is a freak he's not trying to be like anyone else. This song is pretty old but it really kicks ass!
Rating: - Weak remixes and a COOL b-side
Well if you own Manson's debut "Portrait of an American Family" you must know "Lunchbox". The single for it has the version found on the album, 4 remixes which are pretty lame, and a really neat B-side which is a cover of Gary Numan's "Down In The Park". If you can't find this single anywhere, just download "Down In The Park" and buy "Portrait" and you will be fine.
