Rating: - Absorbing, with good acting, but the ending ruins it.
My wife and I just saw this on TV, and the story and good acting pulled us in, and kept us there all the way. Without revealing anything, I'd just say that we both thought the ending really sucked, and ruined it. Either the author or the director made a bad decision about the ending, I'd say. Glad we saw it on TV.

This movie is the sequal to "An Unexpected Family" and just as memorable. The actors work so well together and even the children show a flare for acting. As in the original film, you will not see nude scenes, hear vulgar language or be bombarded with blood and guts! The plot continues from the original movie with Stockard Channing as the sister who is still caring for her niece and nephew. Now it's time to leave the apartment and the big city, to create a home in the country. But there will be surprises that no one expected and difficult decisions that will have to be made.
Again, this wonderful family movie has not made it to DVD yet. Why the studios continue to put out trash and forget the accomplishments in the past is beyond my comprehension. Rating: - Channing is Amazing!
Stockard Channing once again steals the show! She is truely extraordinary! Channing and Collins have a wonderfull on-screen chemistry that makes it so easy to belive their relationship! The two children in this movie are fabulous as well, we should all look for them in upcoming movies, they will be very famous! I recomend this video to Stockard Channing fans. She is, once again, incredible!
